Planning is currently underway on the Western and Central Precincts of the St Marys development.

The Western Precinct is located in the western part of St Marys project site adjacent to the Northern Road. It will contain a mix of residential, local retail and recreation land.

The Central Precinct is located between the Western and Dunheved Precincts, to the immediate north of the existing suburbs of Werrington Downs and Werrington County. It will contain a mix of employment, recreation and residential land.

The next step in the planning process for the Western and Central Precincts is the preparation of the Precinct Plans.

The Precinct Plans establish the framework for development of the Western and Central Precincts, including distribution of major land uses, street network and street types, open space provision, building height, form and density, and sustainability measures. The Precinct Plans will also identify key areas such as environmental management, traffic and transport, stormwater drainage and water cycle management.

To ensure the Precinct Plan responds to the needs of local residents and businesses, a Community Information and Feedback Session will be held at the Cranebrook Neighbourhood Centre, Hosking Street, Cranebrook on Tuesday 1st July, from 5pm – 7pm.This informal session will provide you with the opportunity to ask the questions that are important to you.
